ON TUESDAY, THE 19TH OF MAY PLENARY MEETINGS OF THE FOURTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WERE HELD

V. Lytvyn, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the beginning of the meeting has informed on the results of the parliamentary work during the meeting on the 12-15 of May.

 

Starting with the agenda scrutinizing the People´s Deputies have upheld the proposition concerning the removal of contiguities in the text of the Law "On Amendments and recognition as such that have lost the legitimacy certain legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the activity of the State Criminal-Executive Service" (378 votes).

 

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a Number of Resolutions on the Formation of Temporary Inquiry Panels of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. In particular:

Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the law abidance during the reconstruction of the "Olimpiyskiy" sport complex (376 votes); Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Violation of the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian Laws during the elections to the Ternopil City Council and the facts of its falsification (231 votes); Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the circumstances of the death of the People´s Deputy, I. Pluzhnykova and acquisition of his property and shares of "Inter" television company. (194).

Despite the fact the Chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appealed to the People´s Deputies not to adopt the two Bills concerning the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the circumstances of the incident with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Mykola Tomenko in Frankfurt on Main, Germany formation, the People´s Deputies has adopted two Panels on this case: Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the circumstances of the incident with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Mykola Tomenko in Frankfurt on Main, Germany (214 votes) and Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the circumstances of the incident with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Mykola Tomenko in Frankfurt on Main, Germany and to instigate other possible violations at his part (205votes).

The Parliamentarians have scrutinized two Bills concerning the Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On State Assistance and Peculiarities of the Functioning of Children Centers "Artek" and "Moloda Gvardia".

Pavlo Kostenko, the Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism informed on the Bill. By the legislative acts the amendments are introduced to the law "On State Assistance and Peculiarities of the Functioning of Children Centers "Artek" and "Moloda Gvardia" that specifies its principles concerning the lease allotment of the lands, estimation of the area of these children centers, implementation of servitude regarding the land areas, assigned for the centers for the constant use.

According to the Law, "land areas, 216,6423 hectare that are assigned for the constant use to children center "Artek" and 33,9 hectare that are assigned to "Moloda Gvardia" belong to the state property and are not subjected to disposal".

As a result of voting, the Bill (Reg.№4231-1) was adopted as a Basis and I its entirety (394 votes)
